Dear Valued Patients,

Update 1: My power is back on! YAY

Update 2: A few months ago, I sent several emails and a portal message here to share important news regarding changes to Lotus Integrative Healthcare. I will keep the update posted to keep everyone informed in case they have not logged in in awhile:

1. I am no longer accepting NEW Direct Primary Care patients as I am shifting my business focus going forward into a telehealth niche doing IntellxxDNA Precision Clinical Genomics.
2. As previously mentioned, my husband and I decided to put our home in Huntersville on the market and relocate to our tiny cabin 2.5 hours away.
3. I still have the office in Huntersville, but in-person availability is now limited to a few days each week. Everything else will remain the same.
4. From now on, I will see current patients in the office for scheduled in-person exams when needed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Business hours will be extended to 7pm on those days to better accommodate your needs. I want to assure you that DPC members will still have the usual access to portal messaging, phone calls, video telehealth visits as usual. Telehealth allows me to assess most conditions, provide you with diagnosis, medical advice and follow-up care from the comfort of your own home.
5. I have seen an uptick in respiratory viruses (of unknown origin) so please be aware of the resources in your patient portal documents for preventing and/or treating Covid, Flu and RSV, holistic treatments including nebulizer options (specifically nebulized Glutathione) and homeopathy. The best remedy is a strong immune system developed by eating clean, unprocessed food, getting adequate rest, plenty of vitamins (especially Vitamin C and D), phytonutrients, sunlight, fresh air and exercise. 
6. I would like to take the opportunity to reiterate that since Covid began in 2019, I have always recommended that all families or individuals purchase a portable pulse oximeter device (Pulse Ox) to have at home to measure their heart rate and oxygen % saturation. This is important for monitoring any respiratory illness or asthma/COPD severity. They are quite affordable (Amazon has most priced between $28-$34). One device can be used on the whole family from children to adults (with the exception of newborn infants who need a version made to convert using an adapter for their itty-bitty feet).
7. For those of you with blood pressure issues, I always recommend a reliable automatic blood pressure cuff which can be purchased at a pharmacy or on Amazon.
8. Additionally, I advise looking at the document Glutathione Nebulization under Labs & Documents > General Resources for all Patients. There are many benefits for your immune, respiratory and other systems including respiratory viral prevention.

I understand these changes may bring some concerns, and I want to assure you that I remain committed to providing you with the exceptional integrative healthcare you deserve, no matter where you are.
